These people seem completely incapable of finding a different tone beyond marvel-tier quip humor and a sort of delirious incompetence. Daggerheart actually lets players contribute to the worldbuilding as part of the mechanics and yet they need Mercer to continuously reel them in. This is nearly as bad as Brendan Mulligan's constant obsession with tying every "major plot" antagonist to capitalism or organized religion.

Only Travis can roleplay worth a fucking damn. This is depressing to watch. I can't believe i actually thought they could pull of Berskerk/Dark Souls tone.
