It's ragebait. Game feels no different from og shadoba on release. The "generous" reputation of shadoba came from being able to amass resources long term. Nobody was playing decks with 6+ legendaries like Sword with Otohime/Aurelia/Tsubaki or Forest with Tia/Ancient Elf on day 1 back then either. The only difference is that there are less cope options so instead of spending vials getting Vampy and Vampiric Fortress to cope you have to cope by playing a gimped version of the deck you are aiming to build.
Nobody was playing this shit on day 1 of og shadoba.
