I won't say that the game is bad but it's definitely not for me. I hate how almost nothing manages to stick on the board; I hate that there are 4 evolves overall and that storm is so damn prevelant.
I'm completely new to Shadowverse and I've been using Dragoncraft because it has well valued units, which is fantastic for low collection rates and launch. Almost every deck I'm seeing is portalcraft robot autist. I add storm and I easily beat it but I tried to add lower cost cards to be more consistant and man, is portalcraft absolute cancer to play against; why can we not see the fused cards in the enemy's hand? Why is there absolutely no way to interact/remove with non-followers? Why do I have to sit there and watch some autist play with lego, all the whilst doing damage with each fusion and I have to write what is fused down on paper if I want to track shit? This isn't me complaining about the deck being OP or anything, just that it's massively annoying to play against.

No, because the power gaps between tiers of resources is massive. If you open up 1 or 2 Ralmia, you can supplement with the starter deck and have something competent. If you don't, there aren't enough resources due to the vial changes for you to make any decent deck in the F2P deck at all and you're gapped by those F2P players.

The fucking requirement on a deck's viability is basically that it can get to top ranks every month consistently and quickly. There are a massive list of cheap decks that can pull that off. No, they aren't the best decks in the meta, but no one is asking to be allowed to have all the best decks around for free.

The reason SV2 compares poorly is that even completing a single budget deck that's playable enough for ranked is prohibitively difficult, and literally impossible if you don't open well randomly or reroll until the cards line up. We aren't asking to have 12 leggo ramp dragon lists available to us, we're asking to be able to get just 3 legendaries online on day 1 so we can play. Most players simply can't between the vial changes and the game's decision to design around a large number of value legendaries that can't be replaced instead of build around legendaries so that decks don't bloat out.
