That doesn't sound easy. What if you want to add new lines for a certain character half-way through the array? Now you end up having to fragment the data by store lines at, say, indexes 152-159, 167-172 and 274-275, or you'll make all previous saves incompatible with the current version by changing the indexes. Giving each character their own array would make way more sense, and that should still be easy to save. Just keep an array of character and run the same code on all of them in turn. Using a map would make it even easier, since the order won't matter if you're just looking up keys. There must be a way of doing that with GMS
