It's haaaapeniiiiing
2 15's in a row.
This was the goal I set for myself, and that means I'm free to play other characters now. I'm going to keep going until I lose this streak.
I spent the game up until elf 3 using a brandless +3 flail, and then I used a +0 evening star of holy wrath up until crypt 3. At that point, I finally got my okawaru gift, a +4 eveningstar of protection. That's where I finally spent my enchant scrolls.
I finished with 22 armor/dodging/shields skills. That's partially because abyss teleported me away from some javelins I used, twice. I invested a little bit in transolocations so that I could use apportation in an emergency due to the low ammo count. That wasn't actually useful, this time. When you're invisible, you can seriously just walk into the side room and nothing will bother you.
This strongly implies you don't need defense to do tomb, particularly if you have evocable invis. The main thing stopping me from doing tomb before hell and pan is ammo count. Once you've got 22 stealth/throwing/fighting, you still need enough of both special darts, javs, and boomarangs to keep the enemy at a distance. That, and it just seems like more of a risk compared to hell.
