I have been friends with a dated a few single mothers. On average, they are unfit to raise a kid. It does seem that many of them just want a kid for selfish reasons and don't really care whom they get knocked up by. As for the difference between single mother outcomes and single father outcomes

> a woman's love is conditional
Women will see their kid(s) as an unwanted burden when the kid(s) become inconvenient.
