we have so many idiots here its unbearable

also people are too stupid to calculate electricty prices and foresee the costs

also regulations, in rented apartments its often illegal to use AC with an external unit unless some special permit gets achieved, and even more crazy even if you own the apartment as long as one single other owner on the house objects the "baupolizei" will come and tear it down aftr fining you into oblivion

thats why smart people use indoor units, it circumvents the stupid regulations
