I’ve had this clock since stumbling upon it 17 years ago for $1 in a thrift store. I enjoy hearing the light ticking of its gears throughout the night; I have a 50’s W. Germany Semca portable winding clock that is nice and loud, occasionally I use it when traveling or wanting to hear a louder rhythmic click.
The old GE keeps damn near perfect time, I’ve never had to set it between daylight savings time changes. And it’s alarm is LOUD.
