How? They bribed their way into the adoption, hence why they got both a shitty and demonstrably dangerous pistol, and an excessively shitty rifle adopted back to back. It's very clearly a case of corruption. I do believe that we should readopt the 1911, perhaps in 9mm just to make ammo logistic easier, or perhaps adopt what really should've won the trials, the Beretta M9A4. 1911 is the true American choice, but the M9A4 is a good substitute.
