Just beat Mega Man 8. Need to sleep on it but what in the world was that shit? That was awful. What happened? The first couple stages were fine and then it just took a nosedive in quality.
No E tanks? Removing Rush's abilities and adapters for a bike and rng Eddie items???? So many questionable design choices. And all the gimmicky nonsense in the stages. Some of them I didn't mind but ugh the Wily Castles stages were half of that trash.
I also think MM7 looked better than this, or to compare it with another PSX title, X4 looked a lot more beautiful.

At least the music was pretty good. And I will give it to them, getting a game over and restarting at the second half of the stage was a good choice. But I don't think I'll ever go back to this one. Onto MM9 probably tomorrow I guess
