The big limiting factor of any government is that they can't tax you more than the money you make. There's a hard limit on 100% income tax, UNLESS you run with deficit. Deficit allows governments to spend more than population can be taxed, and spread the cost over time lapses of 20 or 30 or 40 year bonds.

The trick is that after 40 years population has doubled, and the economy expanded as result of brute expansion of population. This means new population can pay the debt left by old population.

This is the reason they're shitting bricks at the fact chuddies are incapable of breeding in today's political climate. They thought they could fix it by flooding in billions of swarthy people.
