He's so autistic about it that he believe he is natty. You don't have to get fat to put on muscle too. A surplus bigger than 500 calories is just retarded. Remember the point is to get stronger, more jacked and fitter in general. A lot of guys seem to lose sight of that and think the goal is to get fat, so they eat pizza and McDonald's, stop doing cardio and don't even really try to progressively overload. Then they get fat and out of shape and then they post here and say bulking doesn't work
Just up your food by 200-300 calories and train extra hard - no skipping workouts, no cutting workouts short and no skipping that one exercise you dont like. You might barely notice any weight gain, like only 5lbs or some shit in a few months, but youll see all your lifts going up and your muscles really popping and looking fuller. You "bulk" but do it sensibly. You're not trying to stuff your face but to just eat a bit more than you are already
