That's a rough hole to get out of and I empathize, but doing the same thing that isn't working clearly isn't helping. The rent issue is endemic to our broken clown world globalist driven dehumanizing society right now. The temporarily living out of your car idea as rightfully unappealing as it is might not be entirely off base. There are better ways than full blown living in a shitbox down by the river ways to do it though. If you can tough it out for a couple of months and sock some amount of money away have you considered government and public vehicle auctions? You have to be the right kind of selective, creative and, flexible, but adding something you can actually adapt to live out of again temporarily of a not full blown skid row junky standard that can tow said car while keeping your larger possessions in a secure storage facility could significantly reduce your living expenses if done correctly. And then you have an asset to sell when you find a better means of providing for yourself. You likely won't "make money" off of living in an old RV or a converted moving van/cargo trailer, but the money you can (not necessarily will) save on rent and utilities can justify it. If I can get the asshole I paid to help me swap the engine on the truck that's in my front yard. I fully intend to turn it into an overlander and sell my house and downsize a significant amount of my possessions. It might not work for you, but it is an idea although admittedly not necessarily a glamorous one that has worked for some. It is an unfortunate sign of our fucked up times. People like the boomers that are plugged into the system that basically exists to milk people like us to death to pay them to exist will do anything to live as long as possible off it while doing everything to not share any of it. We are going to have to adapt or die. Sorry that's almost certainly not what you want to hear, but it's how I see it.
