>Came in too late
This is a common problem with CRPGs in general that should be addressed, the reality is that if you introduce companions late in the game nobody uses or picks them because they already have their fully established party they like. All the way back in BG1 practically no one used pic related because by the time you enter Baldurs Gate the game is likely about to be over, and why would you replace a party member at that point? Meanwhile if she had been standing on the road on the way to the Friendly Arm Inn, she would've probably been one of the top most used characters since she was a Good aligned Thief with solid stats. CRPGs really need to adjust to this reality and give you all of your companion choices at the start or very close to it if they want them all to have a fair shot at being used.
