Activision bought GH and put out a million low effort spin offs and sequels that all still costed $100+. Nobody was interested in buying 2-3 new GH games every year.

This, but also play GH2 Deluxe, RB3 Deluxe, and YARG. They're not as easy to get running and you'll need a better pc for it but they all have way better engines.
