The bigger problem is that if you want to play tank seriously your choices can quickly get pretty narrow.
Like if your team needs a barrier tank there are few options, then some might get banned and potentially there might be one you're not good at or don't like playing.
Compared to Duelist, tank options are hilariously restricitve.

This is why Every single season for at least 4 in a row should always have a new tank in it, along with more supports with the occasional dps.
The game really doesn't need more snipers, long range semi-auto duelists or divers. Yet that's what we're getting this season.
