Also, with regards to BTs the only ones that concern you are these specific ones. If you are encountering any BTs other than these ones while trying to deliver something you have a bad route. BTs should only ever be encounters when either setting up ziplines or searching for Memory Sticks. There's even a zipline you can set up near Mountaineer on the rock that is slightly lower than the mountain where all the BTs are below it that let you go straight from Mountain Knot City to Mountaineer completely bypassing even having to touch those BTs, and outside of the initial setup period in the mountains you should never see a BT at all. The only reason you're on foot in the mountains is to find Memory Sticks, to place down a zipline, or to deliver something to someone after just having exited a zipline.

The ones I have marked as "Bridge" basically just have you setting up a bridge so that the highest point avoids the trigger point of the BT pulling you out of a truck and simply has you drive over their heads, or it's far enough away that they can't catch you as you are higher than they are when they catch up letting you get past their aggro zone. The smaller bridge I have on Tutorial Island can also be avoided just by driving a wider angle, I'm just lazy. The beach bridge near South Knot City has it so that you put it on the flat part of the beach and it avoids the aggro of the BTs entirely because you're far enough away.

When it comes to Tutorial Island's mountains you just need to clear one of the three "lanes" of the mountain of BTs and then you can freely drive through it for roughly three in-game days which is like 6+ in-game hours. There's only like four of them so you can just run into them, start the encounter, and immediately run away, or bomb them so they leave. Later on you can just stealth kill them.
