The same way I can separate violence in video games from real violence. I see this as an outlet for venting all the perverted thoughts and fantasies. I've drawn shit that normies think is problematic: non-con, prostitution, incest, lolicon, etc. I've had all sorts of fantasies involving those and other topics, but I know very well that real life is completely different, and my personal values are completely separate from what I depict in my art.
Maybe it's TMI, but the only time I acted on a fantasy (prostitution), I felt extreme disillusionment and shame, so much that I drove straight to a church to confess.
I know it is not the ideal Christian way or whatever, but what I've learned is that we are a church of sinners. I have read of other religions: I've been very interested in Buddhism, in particular. But I believe I have what I need here, and I know it may sound cringe or that I'm insane, but I've seen both God and the devil in action. I am certain that I have spoken to the devil, and I am certain that I have felt the arms of Jesus Christ embracing me in my deepest meditation and prayer. That is why I believe in God and why I remain a Christian, in spite of everything.
