Aside from formulaic and bogged script falcom games are still fun. I do think that OST got worse in recent years, since falcom are cheapening on the music a lot. Falcom OST was always consistent in its quality, but starting with CS3 we started to get more Bingus and less Unisuga/Jindo/Sonoda + falcom's sound director is a clown who doesn't care about the context.
