Monasteries actually do alot for society
not just the Kung fu ones but western monasteries as well

>Take care of sick and homeless
>provide homes for orphans
>serve as a cultural area for education and held several documents and lore pertaining to the culture
>some of them serve as tourists attractions raising money for the area
>Monks usually knew a trade and used it to benefit the area
The fact you think monasteries are worthless and the fact they are not seen as important as they used to be just signals the degradation of society.
Don't get me wrong christcucks are still cucks but they actually provided a useful service in the past
