Looking back at it now that I'm older, it's actually funny that Chara is actually really straightforward and easy to comprehend, the fanbase is simply full of brainlets juiced on headcanon because they actively skip anything that they're not forced to engage with (see also: the people in these very threads who fully skipped Chapter 3 of Deltarune)
