That part is going pretty bad for me personally, which is why a couple months ago I started coming back here again. The truth is, high-functioning people can pretty easily do all the "self-improvement" stuff, even better than normies can do it. But if you're not born a normie, I'm not sure you can ever "succeed" the way we imagine, like taking a "blue pill" and suddenly becoming normal like everyone else, thinking normal thoughts, not being weird or autistic, wanting what everyone else wants, believing what everyone else believes...
I guess what I'm saying is that it's easier to become high-performing than to become normal.
I think the people that are afraid of doing all the self-improvement stuff.... maybe they are not just lazy.
Maybe they know they'll succeed, and are afraid of what will happen when they succeed.
Because when you succeed, that's when you find out whether you will ever truly belong in this world, or not.
