I think thats where it failed too, if the hull bows in the middle slightly, then it pushes out the flanges on the ring. Or any flaw means the cylinder would be slightly off-round or if the titanium ring is affected differently then the carbon fiber then that joint fails. The front dome was found a bit away from the rest of it and the flanges were torn clean off. Front ring failure point, everything squashed into the back end
