These people are demonic. If I met you on the street, I would smash you skull in with a hammer, I wouldn't feel any remorse. At least I would be saving you from a fate worse than death...like a schizophrenic killing their mom from psychosis. The mother wasn't a happy person, especially after going to jail.

Ironic, it would make me no better than you. I'm not god, I don't have the right to judge right from wrong. That is the first and greatest sin one can commit. But it would sure as hell make me feel good. What else good be better? I can sate my bloodlust...and dole out punishment to those who deserve it. Prevent a tragedy before it happens. Send a demon to hell before they can hurt someone.
