In the past boys were included in the community, now they are told they are horrible people and le bad just for no fitting in with mass media pop culture well enough and socially ostracized.
I don't recommend rotting in your basement however, they will just import 'jeets to replace you. Work hard, but work hard for yourself, work in the "shadow economy", work under the table, cash in hand, start your own small business as a front for other activities, or if you are a smart nerd start an e-business and register it in another country, basically game and play their system as much as possible.
