I don't share your sentiment. It feels like a call of duty game in every way honestly but yea the maps especially are not very good

also I don't get why they don't just copy bf4 vehicle controls and mechanics and slightly alter them, they were perfect back then especially jets and helis
I'm having fun but I was hoping for it to feel more like bf4 because that's what everyone said it was
overall its way better than bf2077 was in the beta but hopefully we get some actual bf maps in this open beta cycle
