I used to think slaanesh was a bit tacky. I know that's the point but I never found it appealing. However the are really starting to grow on me. Myrmidesh painbringers and glutos are starting to grow on me. Seekers are really cool too with their "ironing board with legs" profile and little anteater tongues. Their daemons are 'aight, but their previous codex cover is one of the best I've seen for AoS.
might just buy or print a lord of Hubris to scratch the itch. Such a simple but cool model.

>Would you take this out in public?
yes, absolutely
In my experience, people are so impressed by the paintjob (even if it is relatively shitty) that the character or system is secondary. even just a neat basecoat is enough to impress people who are outsiders to the hobby.
>be me
>coworker is young Korean lady
>fits every stereotype of young 20 something korean women
>follow each other on instragram
>starts liking the blightkings and Kommandos that I post
>she messages me, "Im curious about this character...."
she was talking about pic rel and seems to like nurgle and some of my Kommandos. This is a Korean woman who got her eyes widened and jawline shaved on her 19th birthday. btw My point is that I think the weirdness of the sculpt does not subtract from the technique of the paintjob, but if both are done decently then they are greater than the sum of their parts. Within reason of course. Don't go out showing coworkers and family your coomer nude orc prints.
