I insulated the windows with a thick XPS and they close with wooden shutters all the way thru. A small hole in the XPS to pass the small tube between the ext unit and the internal, it is insulated, but this is an old house that gets heated fast.
For now i bought one of these to control the time it stays on, it's better than nothing.

I don't know how to wire a thermostat to a portable splitted AC.
