The US misses out on chips like 5500X3D and 7500F, there are also some China-exclusive Intel CPUs specced for net cafes.
It's an international distribution strategy, they don't deliver some of these high-value chips in the US because they can cannibalize sales of the costlier CPUs.
It makes sense from a business POV to make US gamers pay the 9800X3D or better premium.
AMD also waited™ until most potential 7800X3D customers bought it before they offered a Microcenter-only 7600X3D.
