I figured it out!
The way to break the prophecy is to CONTINUE past the prophecy's end!
The story implies that there's been some kind of repetition of different characters playing the prophecy role only for it to get reset. It might be due to timelooping, it might be because a previous trio failed, whatever.
The prophecy doesn't account for what happens AFTER the end. It doesn't say the sacrifices are permanent! It doesn't say the dead can't be revived!
THAT'S RIGHT FOLKS! THAT'S WHERE THE FREEDOM TO MAKE OUR OWN FUTURE LIES!
Because the prophecy is done and told, the creator of it has no control over what happens after the end! That's when WE get control of the narrative and find some way to immediately bring back whoever was sacrificed!
The true ending is to CONTINUE PAST THE END! The story's supposed to end at ch 6, but there's a ch7!

i consider myself pretty obsessed about theorizing and constantly thinking about stuff in this game, but honestly i didn't take that as "fuck you and your theories" but more as a light way of poking fun, personally i found it funny
