What? The raven represents grief. It's not subtle. The guy is sitting there mourning his dead girlfriend and then a carrion bird shows up and says "nevermore." And then he tries to kill it because he does not, in fact, fucking love ravens. Why are zoomers terrified to admit that symbols exist?
