In my opinion a "mid bead" is a useless gizmo that attempts to act as a band-aid solution for poor gun fit, but in reality all it does is make the gun more expensive to build. It is possible for a shooter to take the extra time to align the mid-bead and bead, however if the gun fits the shooter properly that alignment is automatic, the mid-bead is redundant, and the time taken to align it is wasted.
