You're supposed to download the files and put them in a folder so it looks like pic related, then go to the extension settings page in Chrome/Brave, click on "Load unpacked" and select the "chrome" folder.
You can do the same thing with Firefox but it has issues viewing files.

You do need 4chan X on Violentmonkey for this to work though since it won't work if you have the extension version.
