Day 32

I entered Eterna Forest and met a girl named Cheryl. She asked to travel together, and I agreed—it made navigating the dense woods feel less lonely. While making our way through the forest, I caught a Buneary, but her time with me was heartbreakingly short. A trainer’s Beautifly landed a Gust that took her out before she had a chance to grow. Despite the loss, my Shinx evolved into Luxio during our journey, and after some tough battles and careful steps, Cheryl and I made it to the other side. We said our goodbyes, and I continued on alone.

I arrived in Eterna City and began preparing for my next Gym challenge. While training, I caught a Meditite in the nearby routes, then explored Mt. Coronet where I found a Nosepass. I immediately evolved it into a sturdy Probopass, adding solid defense to my team. Once I felt ready, I challenged Gardenia, Eterna City’s Grass-type Gym Leader. The fight was laughably easy. Staravia swept through her entire team—Turtwig, Cherrim, and Roserade—with a series of Wing Attacks before they could do anything meaningful.

After the Gym battle, I turned my focus to the building owned by Team Galactic. Word had spread that the local bike shop owner had been taken there. Inside, I battled my way through grunts and eventually faced Commander Jupiter. She was undeniably hot, but her Skuntank was a bloated, foul-smelling nightmare. Still, I held my ground and defeated her, driving Team Galactic out of the city. With peace restored, the bike shop owner was freed and told me to visit his shop later.
