It started when Ericspammer began calling Zelda fans who shat on BotW/ToTK and liked OoT "OoTsnoys". Basically saying you were a fake fan that pretended to like older games to shit on newer ones. The snoy connotation doesn't mean it's an actualy Sony fan wearing sheep's clothing (sometimes), it's to belittle older Nintendo fans who disagree with the new shit. Cubesnoy, Wiisnoy, etc. are variations of this.
