What is the appeal of this show and anime in general? It just seems like juvenile shlock aimed at 16 year olds. Why are the main characters always teens? The stupid robots beating up aliens or whatever just seems too silly to take seriously. It's always full of tropes, terrible writing and are poor from a artistic standpoint. Why are there millions of people who obsess over this shit?
