These men lead lives which are completely alien to men like you and me. Sex is like water or air to them. When they're married those urges don't go away. It's just that they have a woman at home now. A woman who most likely grows to hate them over time. Meanwhile when they're away from home they're still able to be the same charming, flirtatious sex-haver.

There's also that women would rather have sex with a married man, who we can assume is personable and well-liked, rather than have sex with some weirdo in his 30s who has never had sex (me). To the extent that you can't really begrudge women that because it's such an obvious conclusion for them to come to.

This is really it. All the moral stuff people preach about, the vows, pretending you only want one person for life etc is all what people say out loud. If you examine what's inside their heads and their behaviour (i.e the incidence of cheating) it becomes clear that it's all made up shite.
