It's kind of insane from my perspective since my sister told me she wouldn't bother anybody and would generally just isolate herself with her small group of friends and then lock herself in her room when she got home, but apparently some girl or several girls she knew so little she couldn't even remember their names started a rumor that she had multiple STDs and prostituted herself, completely out of nowhere and seemingly for no reason. The way she made it sound is that nobody really believed it or disbelieved it, but she could tell people she didn't know very well were not keen on interacting with her and that shit followed her for her junior and senior year. If I were a betting man I would put good money that the girl(s) who started that rumor thought she was competition or something considering how attractive she is.
