>going indie is morally and pragmatically superior to being corpo
More like "going corpo as a stepping stone and then leaving to further your own success". Wouldn't you want that for your oshi? I don't know about /lig/, they might be more puritan on ex-corpos, though.
>her own relatively moderate stance even towards Nijisanji itself
She just doesn't want to be succumbed by negativity even though it's obvious she's been scorned a lot. Which is admirable on its own right.

This. A "talent-first" worldview doesn't mean "hardcore true indie only", it means checking corpos and making sure they only exist as long as they are of value to the talent.

I don't know about most but I prefer corpo content because I like gen dynamics and big events and the fact the structure forces vtubers, who are usually pretty shy and autistic, to come out of their shells. So I'm not against the idea of corpos in principle but I need them to be useful, transparent and competent. Sadly, no existing corpo is like that, and since vtubing is so monopolistic, and monopolies don't give up their position out of their own volition, the only way forward is dismantling and freeing the space up for hopefully better ones.
