what is the bare minimum I need to start doing (semi)professional plush commissions? to clarify, I don't know SHIT about sewing or plushmaking and am looking to hit the ground running and start selling lifesize plushes to anons ASAP.

that embroidery machine you use Chip, if you're reading? that Janome Memory Craft 500ea/550e or whatever the fuck? I found a deal for a couple hundred off off an open box one from a seller, able to snag it for only 1200 bones but only until tonight, and I'm wondering, should I do it? Should i pull the trigger right now and fucking do it? I know it doesn't do regular sewing and 1200 is a hefty price for a dedicated embroidery machine, especially for a beginner, but I want to know if I need to spring for one now instead of later if it will eventually be neccesary to my setup later. locally there's also this one person who's selling their brother SE600 in similar condition for about 30% off msrp that I want to snatch if I can.

now of course I'm looking for something much cheaper and more novice friendly that can do the same thing, but if those are already the cheapest options in that price range to produce plushes of that certain craftsmenship and calibre then that's a price I'm willing to pay for quality.

I know I seem very eager to imitate you and your plushmancy skills, but only because I've seen your plushes numerous times in real life and have personally been INSPIRED. your work always has that air of professional quality to it, y'know what I mean? and I want to replicate that with my plushes. I've never seen anyone make a Rainbow Dash with as much SOVL as you.

any materials, resources, and info is much appreciated.
