More often than not, if you aren't in a hot zone you can get (better) grub than just canned shit. Could prolly at least cook up some goulash and have it with bread. Dont forget, some of these soldiers are fighting close to home (>50 miles in some cases), especially on the Ukrainian side. I have also seen vans and shit that race to the front, drop off some actual fresh(er) food than canned shit, and run back to a field kitchen.
I doubt most soldiers would eat the shit out of a can anyways, too easy to combine a few things, especially w/ ramen noodles.
