just get skinners. my only lever gun is a henry goldenboy h004 and I had the receiver cover drilled and tapped and put skinner sights on and have a section of weaver bolted in the factory barrel holes with a QD red dot. You are supposed to put the bead in the little U or V above the white diamond.
