When drawing hair, I'd suggest doing big forms and filling them in rather than individual hairs, and using highlights to hint at the idea of individual hairs. Another thing is maybe thinking about the direction of thing/how they're tilted in relation to the camera. (like how in the ref, the mouth is pointed down) Youtube should have some good exercises for it/say it in a way that makes more sense, felt this pic from google kind of translates what I mean

Nonetheless keep going, I think starting over would be good, give you something to directly compare it to and try changing things that don't look right to you
