So on the back of your head unit there will be 8 wires

Front
Left and right, +/- for each

Rear
Left and right, +/- for each

Your head unit will play the digital format of the song, process it by converting it to analogue (DAC) and pumps it out to the speakers. The coil of the speaker is suspended in a magnetic field and when the coil receives an electrical signal it causes the cone to move and create pressure waves known as sound.

Every speaker has an impedance rating (measured in ohms). The higher the ohm rating the more power the speaker requires to drive it.

The problem you will encounter is that guitar amps run on mains power, headunits run on 12-24vdc.

If you want to interchange speakers you need to add up how many speakers are in series and know the power of the amps and speakers.
