Volume 27's back has Nacht's grimoire. It could be seen during his appearance last volume, and it wasn't a drawing error: it really has no clover.
So far this hasn't been addressed. Could it be due to his many devil contracts? Does he cover it with shadow magic because he feels he doesn't belong? Your guess is as good as mine.
