For a bit over a month now I've been running 12 groups to connect local ponyfags with others near them so they can make friends and do stuff together. Many locals who otherwise had no idea about eachother have met thus far and all groups combined have about 400 people total. There are some chinese, Korean and other rare anons around the globe but with such low density on English platforms its not worth trying to connect them on a regional basis. The group populations so far are roughly as follows.
South East USA 110
South Central USA 50
North East USA 50
Midwest USA 50
Pacific South West USA 35
Pacific North West USA 30
Eastern Euro 26
British Isles 20
Western Euro 14
Baltic/Nordic Euro 8
Oceania/Sea 16

map update, expanded Oceania to SEA as well to reach more anons in this part of the world, if this group grows large enough in one country it might be split in two (unlikely)
