For me it’s gotta be century homes. Actually, I like many different houses and buildings. Almost everything that resonates within vernacular architecture. When styles, resources, and historical techniques portray the building’s origin and function. I’m not an architect, or anything close to it, just a building enjoyer. And yes, jannies, architecture is political. The death of local architecture with replacement of soulless glass and steel buildings that are used only as their primary function instead of being sources for inspiration and beauty seem, to me, to be clinical watermarks of a global society in decline.
