People think that this is just a racist meme but I went there over thirty years ago and scamming is fundamentally ingrained in Indian culture. Once you realise this they're easy enough to deal with by just ignoring them at every available opportunity. Because it is so relentless you become very quickly immunised to their behaviour.
I'm guessing that the memes that "They're hard workers and very intelligent" either came directly from Indians or from Jews that have been allied with them since the East India Trading Company.
