OP here. Just popping in for an update. Happy to say that nothing major has occurred in Japan. A nothing happening is a good thing.

But, alas, things are still happening. Today is significantly quieter than previous days, both in magnitude and frequency, and as noted in other posts, this occurred before the last major quake in Japan. Still, fingers crossed nothing happens.
