Cubicle 7 have stated that they'll hopefully eventually add Cathay into the setting, especially since it's now an official playable army. We'll probably see a Nippon army in Warhammer Fantasy/The Old World before WoTC releasing an updated Kara-Tur/Oriental Adventures supplement.
